Inspired by the grit of boxing culture and the unapologetic confidence of Grace Jones, the collection fused sculpted athletic silhouettes with high-fashion attitude. Working closely with LaQuan, I helped merge his fearless vision with PUMA’s performance DNA, creating pieces that celebrated strength, movement, and modern femininity.
Working on PUMA x LaQuan Smith was an incredible creative exchange. LaQuan came in with a clear vision of power, sensuality, and unapologetic confidence. My role was to help translate that energy into PUMA’s design language, merging the technical precision of sport with the fierce glamour of his world.
The collection drew inspiration from boxing culture and the attitude of icons like Grace Jones. Every silhouette carried a sense of strength and control with corseted waists, sleek stretch fabrics, and metallic details that felt both athletic and luxurious. I focused on creating shapes that celebrated the body, giving the LaQuan Smith woman her arena to move, shine, and own every room she walks into.
Together, we built a capsule that felt bold and elevated, grounded in PUMA’s performance DNA yet unmistakably LaQuan, confident, sculpted, and powerful.
